Students seeking admission to Merritt Island Christian School must create an online account, submit an online application, and turn in supplementary documents to the Admissions Office.  Only complete applications will be processed.  To create an account and submit an application CLICK HERE

Elementary Applicants (Grades K-6) 

  • Completed and submitted Online Student Application
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of previous year and current year report cards. Kindergarten applicants, who have attended VPK or another preschool program for four-year-olds, submit a progress report if applicable.
  • Kindergarten applicants, who have attended VPK or another preschool program for four-year-olds, submit a progress report if applicable.
  • Copy of most recent standardized test scores. Kindergarten applicants, who have attended a VPK program, submit copies of the two most recent FDE (Fla. Dept. of Education) VPK assessments.
  • Kindergargen applicants who have attended a VPK program, submit two of the most recent FDE (Florida Department of Education) VPK assessments.

  • (1) Administrator or Guidance Counselor Evaluation form
  • $150 non-refundable application fee per student

Secondary Applicants (Grades 7-12)

  •  Completed and submitted Online Student Application
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of previous year and current year report cards
  • Copy of most recent standardized test scores
  • Copy of high school transcript (9th-12th applicants)
  • Teacher Evaluation form – Language Arts/English
  • Teacher Evaluation form – Mathematics
  • Administrator or Guidance Counselor  Evaluation form
  • $150.00 non-refundable application fee per student
  • Completed Student Questionnaire (form distributed at time of campus appointment)

After review of application materials, elementary and secondary applicants may be scheduled for an assessment test.  This test will help us gain insight into the student’s academic strengths and weaknesses.  Once the test has been completed, a campus appointment will take place to establish the compatibility of the academic, social, and spiritual goals of the family and school.  Acceptance or non-acceptance will be communicated to you as soon as possible.  If your child is accepted, the final step in the process will be to complete enrollment procedures.
