At Merritt Island Christian School, we believe that spiritual growth happens best within authentic Christian community. While students have opportunities to participate in organizations such as National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, Student Government, and other leadership opportunities, our primary focus is on Discipleship Groups.
Built into our weekly schedule, Discipleship Groups provide students with dedicated time to meet with peers of the same gender and age group for meaningful fellowship, Biblical discussion, prayer, accountability, and spiritual encouragement. Led by trusted faculty and staff members, these groups create a safe environment where students can deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, build lasting friendships, and learn how to apply God’s Word to their everyday lives.
At MICS, our goal extends beyond academic achievement. We desire to equip students to become strong Christian leaders who are deeply rooted in their faith, confident in their identity in Christ, and prepared to impact their communities and the world for God’s glory. Discipleship Groups are one of the many ways we intentionally invest in the spiritual development of every student.
